Sustainability

Our Commitment
At Mondrian Singapore Duxton, we recognise the importance of embracing sustainable tourism practices that protect natural resources, respect cultural heritage, and support local communities.
Certified by the GSTC Framework, our sustainability initiative focuses on four key pillars: Sustainable Management, Socioeconomic Impacts, Cultural Impacts, and Environmental Impacts.
Support and contribute to biodiversity conservation: Focus on contributing to biodiversity conservation, especially for protected areas and ecosystems of high biodiversity value. Minimize any disturbance to natural ecosystems and ensure compensatory contributions to conservation management.
Use native plants for landscaping: Where possible, prioritise native plant species for landscaping and decor to avoid the introduction of invasive species.
Avoid the use of endangered species: Ensure compliance with local and international laws by avoiding or prohibiting the use, consumption, or trade of endangered wildlife species, including in menus.

Go Green room Initiative
The Go Green Room initiative invites guests to join in the hotel’s sustainability efforts by opting out of daily housekeeping. This simple choice helps reduce water, energy, and waste.
As a token of appreciation, guests receive a complimentary welcome drink at Canyon Club.
Available for stays of two nights or more. For four nights or more, with a make up service every three days. Guests may still request essentials such as rubbish removal, bottled water, or additional amenities at any time.
A thoughtful stay, for a lighter footprint.

BCA Green Mark Gold
Mondrian Singapore Duxton has been successfully re-awarded the BCA Green Mark Gold certification by Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
This recognised government accreditation affirms the hotel’s continued commitment to energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and sustainable building practices. The re-award follows a rigorous assessment process that evaluates operational performance, technical documentation, and measurable sustainability outcomes.
The BCA Green Mark certification is a widely respected benchmark within Singapore’s built environment, and is increasingly sought after by corporate partners and clients who prioritise sustainability as part of their business and travel decisions.
