From November 17 to 23, Mondrian Cannes transforms into a true art gallery for the Art Week, organized in collaboration with République des Arts association.
Under the theme “The Journey,” this artistic week will highlight seven regional artists who will take over the hotel’s spaces — from the lobby to the bar and the restaurant — to offer visitors a unique sensory experience through painting, sculpture, and photography.

AN INNER JOURNEY THROUGH MATERIAL, MEMORY & IMAGINATION
Conceived as an inner journey, the Art Week exhibition explores the sensory imprints left by places — a color, a texture, a breath.
Set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean, Mondrian Cannes becomes the stage for a poetic exploration where material and light turn into shifting landscapes.
The exhibition showcases seven artists from the French Riviera, united by their sensitive approach to matter and nature. Each day, one of them will be present at the hotel to meet guests and discuss their creative process.

A land artist who shapes his work from clay, the most elemental of materials, like a farmer cultivating his soil.
A colorist and intuitive artist, explores the dialogue between intellect and emotion through experimental techniques.
A sculptor who creates poetic reliefs exploring botanical memory through light and shadow, celebrating the timeless elegance of the nature.
A painter exploring abstraction, fauvism, and post-expressionism on large canvases where vegetation emerges between beauty and chaos.
A sculptor inspired by the mineral landscapes of his childhood, whose clay works reflect both hesitation and mastery, inviting personal interpretation.
A photographer whose universe is built around texture, light, and blur, revealing the duality of the French Riviera — its radiant glow and darker side.

With this Art Week, Mondrian Cannes reaffirms its desire to place art at the heart of the hospitality experience.
The hotel turns into a vibrant hub where artists, travelers, and locals meet, exchange, and share inspiration.
Mr. Nakamoto Bar will host two daily moments of exchange with the artists:
- Café des Arts | 4 p.m – 6 p.m : A refined afternoon formula featuring a dessert and a hot beverage.
- Afterwork | 6 p.m – 8 p.m : A daily cocktail inspired by the artist of the day
