Singapore Art Week
In celebration of Singapore Art Week 2026 (22–31 January), Mondrian Singapore Duxton invites the public to witness a landmark artwork take shape in real time. In partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board and National Arts Council, the hotel’s iconic front staircase is transformed into a live public canvas, as artists create a large-scale mural over the course of the week.
Bringing contemporary art into the open, the experience invites both locals and visitors to observe the creative process as it unfolds, positioning Mondrian Singapore Duxton as a cultural gateway where art, place, and everyday life intersect.
Complimentary Public Art Tours
Mondrian Singapore Duxton introduces complimentary public art tours, held on the first and third Fridays of each month at 4:00pm.
Open to all and free to register, the guided tour includes the new staircase mural and key artworks across the property, reinforcing Mondrian’s role as an accessible cultural destination.
The Creator Residency Programme
tobyato (Singapore) × Jappy Agoncillo (Philippines)
At Mondrian Singapore Duxton, the residency centres on a collaboration between Singaporean artist tobyato and Filipino artist Jappy Agoncillo.
Recognised for their bold palettes, graphic compositions, and playful narratives, the artists co-create a site-specific mural across the hotel’s front staircase. Positioned beside Mondrian’s iconic KAWS sculpture, the mural transforms a prominent architectural feature into a new visual landmark within the Duxton precinct.
