THE Corner shop
The Corner Shop is a dynamic, street-level space opposite Mondrian Hong Kong that celebrates the possibilities of artistic pop-up experiences. The space serves as the perfect back drop for a cultural dialogue, providing a platform for guerrilla art, carefully curated coolness, cultural events, and inspiring installations.
The Corner Shop is open to the public daily, free of charge, and reservations are not required.
As its second exhibition of visionary artists since opening mid-December, ‘RUBIKS’ by sculptor Anton Poon has landed at The Corner Shop, now viewable through the looking-glass of this street-side gallery.
Sculptures ‘Lunging’, ‘Compass’ and ‘Bestowal’, composed of painted carbon steel, focus on the contrast between distance and intimacy, emotion and connection, and complexity and delicacy. Showcasing daily life experiences, viewers and passers-by are drawn into these sculptural forms, enabling each individual’s experiences to connect to each structure, and ultimately, the unveiling of one’s inner potential.
The continuous shift in light from dawn to dusk throughout the day, transforms the aesthetic moment of each sculpture, revealing a connection between colour, human and the passing of time.

The Corner Shop’s inaugural exhibition featured the work of Parisian artist Caroline Tronel, whose art embodies the power of creativity and individual action in reshaping our relationship with the world.
Tronel’s “Giant Crushed Cans” installation invited viewers to embrace sustainability and sparks conversations on environmental consciousness.
