Art & culture
experience ART at mondrian singapore
At Mondrian Singapore Duxton, art is not an accent. It is embedded in the architecture, the atmosphere, and the way the space moves.
Contemporary works live across corridors, guest rooms and social spaces, inviting both locals and travellers to experience creativity in its most natural setting. From permanent installations to evolving showcases, the hotel becomes a living canvas where art, place and everyday life intersect.
More than a destination, Mondrian Singapore Duxton stands as a cultural gateway in Duxton Hill, where design, dialogue and creative expression meet.
Complimentary Public Art Tours
Mondrian Singapore Duxton introduces complimentary public art tours, held on the first and third Fridays of each month at 4:00pm.
Open to all and free to register, the guided tour includes the new staircase mural and key artworks across the property, reinforcing Mondrian’s role as an accessible cultural destination.
The Creator Residency Programme
tobyato (Singapore) × Jappy Agoncillo (Philippines)
At Mondrian Singapore Duxton, the residency centres on a collaboration between Singaporean artist tobyato and Filipino artist Jappy Agoncillo.
Recognised for their bold palettes, graphic compositions, and playful narratives, the artists co-create a site-specific mural across the hotel’s front staircase. Positioned beside Mondrian’s iconic KAWS sculpture, the mural transforms a prominent architectural feature into a new visual landmark within the Duxton precinct.
“We see hospitality as a platform that brings culture into the everyday,”
— Damien Marchenay, General Manager, Mondrian Singapore Duxton
